“The Ringing Forest Of Chernobyl” the documentary by Denis Tolstun, Aleksander Medinskiy (Ukrane)

On January 28 at 6pm you can attend the screening of the documentary “The Ringing Forest Of Chernobyl” created by the Union of Bloggers of Ukraine. The documentary tackles the current situation in the area of contamination. The forests around Chernobyl have been illegally logged for years. The documentary is based on the authors’ filming in the area which is regarded as forest reserves or rather exclusion zone. All logging there is officially banned due to the high level of contamination. However, despite all bans, logging is common in the exclusion area. The forested area is diminishing rapidly in size. What is going on now in the area? Why do local people agree to have jobs as loggers? Where are ringing logs sold to? It is expected that the authors attend the screening and they can participate in the discussion.

“Звенящий лес Чернобыля” документальный фильм Дениса Толстуна и Александра Мединского (Украина)

Показ документального фильма «Звенящий лес Чернобыля» состоится 28 января 2020 г. в 18.00. Фильм, созданный Союзом Блогеров Украины, затрагивает текущую ситуацию в области загрязнения, где леса незаконно вырубаются годами. В основу документального фильма легли съемки области, известной как зона отчуждения. Из-за высокого уровня загрязнения вырубка леса на территории вокруг Чернобыля официально запрещена. Однако, несмотря на все запреты, вырубка леса продолжается в зоне отчуждения, что ведёт к быстрому уменьшению его площади. Что сейчас происходит в этом районе? Почему местные жители соглашаются работать лесорубами? Кто покупает звенящий лес?
Мы ожидаем, что авторы примут участие в просмотре и смогут принять участие в обсуждении.
