Book Launch: Microtonal Music Studios 29.05.2026 17:00

Microtonal Music Studios and Myymälä2 are extremely pleased to invite everyone to the launch of the first eBook from the Microtonal Music Studios project on the 29th of May starting at 17:00 at Myymälä2 gallery, Helsinki.
Edited by Timo Tuhkanen and titled “Microtonal Music Studios Reader I, Music Outside Keys and Cultures: Social, Cultural, Political, and Personal Perspectives” the book contains 14 chapters from the authors:

The layout and cover has been designed by Timo Tuhkanen using by Henry Birdsey’s two graphic music scores Two Harmonicas in a Jeweller’s Court and Levitation Marks.
A physical book, printed in black and white, will be available from the print on demand service lulu.com (link will be updated) and a small limited edition book, printed in colour, will be available at a later date.
