If you joined us for the opening, you already know the idea: we transformed the exhibition into a semi-fictional home, where artworks became part of the living room, bedroom and kitchenette—and celebrated the opening with the atmosphere of a house party.

Before Helsinki Design Week activities take over the city, we’re gathering once more at The Art of Small—this time for a listening party before we close the show on 29th 🎧

On Friday, 28 August, we’re returning to the living room with @uel.dnb of @dnb_finland , who will take over the gallery space with a dedicated listening set ✨

Uel has been involved with Kallio Block Party and is one of the people behind @souledout.hki , together with Askel, Elere and Sol:us, building a community around liquid drum & bass in Helsinki. For over a year, Souled Out has organised bi-monthly events at Grotesque, with more gatherings already on the way this autumn. You may also have heard them on IDA Helsinki, where their monthly radio show All Souled Out brings their selection of liquid DnB to the airwaves.

For us, the listening party is another way of gathering around art: come in, find a spot in the living room, listen to a yummy set of liquid DnB, spend some time with the artworks ✨
