Seven Of Seven at Hotel Solo

Seven of Seven: Performance and Live Art Week
Every day a different performance from 17:00 to 20:00
One year ago, thanks to the invitation and lovely hospitality of SEA Foundation, Myymälä2 representatives (Ramiro Camelo, Egle Oddo and Timo Tuhkanen) visited Brabant region and got acquainted with outstanding organisations and artists.
Club Solo, one of the oldest artist-run organisations in the region, stroke our curiosity for the similarities and differences we found with Myymälä2 modus operandi.
Now after many months of planning together, Myymälä2 is going to present Seven of Seven festival in Breda upon the invitation of Club Solo.
Once a year, Club Solo invites a foreign artist-run-space to present their own program at their building in Breda. In 2022, Myymälä2 from Finland is the chosen guest. Myymälä2 artist-curators will present their working methods as a fellow artist-run-space. The program ‘Seven of Seven Performance and Live Art Week’ is produced and curated by the Myymälä2 curatorial group.
Mark the dates 6.6 – 12.6.2022.
The program is inside Club Solo premises, Kloosterlaan 138 Breda, The Netherlands.
The lineup for this exceptional Seven of Seven is:
Day 6.6. Egle Oddo
Day 7.6. John Court
Day 8.6. Sepideh Rahaa
Day 9.6. Roi Vaara
Day 10.6. Elvira Santamaría Torres
Day 11.6. Harrie Liveart
Day 12.6. Salla Valle

Performances available also online live on Myymälä2 YouTube Channel.
Based on this online live stream, curator Lori Adragna will write a series of short texts on each performance later available in Club Solo’s catalogue.
Myymälä2 members wish to thank SEA Foundation for the generosity in sharing their knowledge and opening their house, Club Solo for the ingenious, fresh and friendly approach to art production, and of course Mondriaan Funds for the support and The Finnish Cultural Foundation for supporting our exploration trip.
Myymälä2 is a cooperative of artists, running an exhibition and event space in the centre of Helsinki since 2002. Over the years, it has strengthened its position in Helsinki as an alternative space, dedicated to visual arts, experimental music, design and street culture. Myymälä2 presents dedicated artists from different disciplines of various cultural and educational backgrounds, whose attitude toward art is experimental and unconventional.
