Event 18.00–20.00 – Poetry-Concert
Haiyun Yu: Sound of the Waves
Working on the arrangement and adaptation of Jiang Kui’s ritual poetry-song collection “Nine Songs of Yue” on modern instruments, Haiyun will perform the poetry-concert on an adapted 12- string guitar.
The two works that Haiyun is presenting are inspired by Chinese poet and composer Jiang Kui
[1155-1221] – in particular his ritual poetry-song collection “Nine Songs of Yue”. The video
installation and the poetry-concert together form a quote:
翩其來爾,乘濤駕月。
Here it comes, with the sound of the waves and light of the moon.
